Welcome to the intro edition of Gravity Flow MTB report.
This is a new blog that focuses on gravity mountain biking and the various elements that it involves.
Gear, races, events, places to ride, skills, suspension tuning and other mechanical knowledge, and general mountain bike news. That's what we're doing here.
First on the agenda is a review of The Avalanche SSD technology in the form of an "Avalanched" Fox DHX RC2 shock mounted to a 2013 Wilson Devinci XP (that's right, the aluminum frame). Will the Avalanche turn an entry level DH shock into a world cup level performer? Will the negative handling traits of the stock suspension still be an issue? Is SSD really better than Fox PSD? We'll find out as the review unfolds.....
Stay Tuned.
